This is an Allegheny Mound Ant Colony. They are these ants with a terrible bite and really hate being disturbed. They actually bite into trees to kill them so they can use their extremely large mounds as solar collectors to heat the mound. We are studying the architecture of the mounds.

    only thing, if I were standing next to a massive ant mound, I dont think I would be shirtless.
    too risky por moi....though I like the pants tucked into the socks. nice touch. :)
