Despondence
There are homeless and then there are homeless. This wretched soul is on his last lap. I wonder what the tipping point is between the other homelessness and this.
I never subsidize panhandlers holding signs in medians and find them annoying, but this man was not begging and had we not been in the wrong lane of traffic and he so far off the road I would have given him money.
