This was at the rally held in Portland, Oregon. I believe this photograph represents the future democracy our country is really needing. I am in full support of Obama's campaign, and his speech there was absolutely amazing. His energy was phenomenal, and his passion for changing the United States government was really an eye opener. I chose this photograph to be represented in the democracy theme because CHANGE is really what our country needs right now. I may be young, but I can see when trouble is arousing. I feel if Obama became president then the hypocrisy that currently exists in the United States government would be completely eliminated. And since I will be 18 in september, Obama will be the first president I will ever vote for, and I am most certainly proud of it.
(note, the sign says "CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN")
In the Barack Obama. photo essay.

Yep, looks like the young ones will take the bull by the horns, will have a big say in the coming election (yeah!). After all, you're paying the huge bill we've managed to squander...
But, be ready to 'demand' what you guys vote for, don't just trust us to carry out what 'we' tell ya we'll do... Campaign promises are a dime a dozen, from all sides... Carry on, Ashley!! -

It's alllll good!!!. You can achieve anything as long as you believe in your self, even that means sometimes not walking the walk most others do in our society. Believe that you will achieve what you want to achieve because you deserve it and you have the will and creativity. And make sure you master your camera and glass :). Get of the beaten track and develop your own style. I like your images, I think you will be alright.

He is the Change we need! His handling of the campaign by continuing to just tell us the truth is exactly what I want in my president! Thank you for this close up of a man I admire.

I found it quite ironic you submitted a photo of Obama to a theme because it has the little Vote Now banner across it and he very well may be our next president. Oh irony.
