What goes up must come down, right? Not in space where there is no up or down. Up and down are earth-centered concepts we use to make sense of our world but they are not the only concepts available to interpret the world with.

A tragedy is only a tragedy if you refuse to learn anything about yourself from it. This is why Shakespeare’s tragedies are universally appealing. They show us universal flaws in human nature and how these flaws can affect us on a personal level. I’m not necessarily talking about the protagonist but also the peripheral characters. All lives are linked by the choices we make whether we take responsibility for or are aware of these choices or not.

If you refuse to search out answers, incorporate new concepts and redefine your world then what’s the point of your life?
