This is a house I passed driving to Vermont this weekend. On my way home when I saw it again, I had to stop and shoot. It's on a main road, yet it's isolated. Even though there was an occasional car passing by (staring at me), it was very quiet and eerie standing on its overgrown lawn. I wanted to go up to it and peer in (the windows were gone in some places), but I had my children with me and didn't want to invite trouble. I tried to capture the sad, haunted feeling I felt standing there.
Once again, I used Simon Le's aged photo guidlelines:

Natalie, this shot is absolutely amazing! The color tone did add more values to it. Great contrast, composition & story. Love it!!! Thanks for sharing :)

Henk - those are all the same thoughts I had standing there. It felt really sad. What you can't really tell from the photo unfortunately is that the tree on the right extends through the roof and into the house - almost as if it was a big arm trying to lift the house off the ground.
Thank you all for your comments. -

Great shot, Natalie. And perfect effects on the image to age it and 'spook it up'!

Ooooooh, this is awesome. Love it, love it. It begs for you to create a story, to imagine what happened to it. I would love to see a night shot of this, with a dark spooky sky, moon high.
