well then, here's an update!
so the people in the image are my girlfriend and her sister. Her sister has been living in washington DC for the last year, and we took a trip to visit before she moves back home. Here, we don't have any moving walkways, so I'm obsessed with setting my camera on the railings and taking pictures... this is at the national art museum (east) and for this instant there were no other people crossing underneath, so I got a few shots. The reflection of the glossy railing created the last 1/4 of the apparent hole of light, which really made this picture worth something. -
