the process
one of the things i admire most about sam & scott's approach to making a film is their unwavering devotion to quality. scott is an exceptional DP and sam is a mighty fine director. together than can take something quite ordinary and craft it into a breathtaking image.
sam carries his monitor in a backpack to shield it from unwanted light. he pretty much keeps his head buried in there most of the day, but, when the images are that striking, i would too.

they are using the vericam in this image... but recently we shot a music video on the new RED one. we have upgraded all our gear (new edit stations and more powerful laptops) in an effort to make RED the only system we shoot on.
