Orford Ness is a former atomic weapons test facility. This shot was taken from the observation deck where bombing runs would be observed and recorded. Casing from spent bombs and, according to the warning signs, even unexploded bombs litter the landscape.

Words do no describe how much I love this photo. The desolation of the foreground, the hope in the distance. Great shot.
