I love those once in a lifetime photo oportunities that sometimes present themselves to you.The sun was just minutes from setting, that magical golden hour had arrived, when I spotted this little Oase Himba boy in his tribal village in Namibia, as he ran off excitedly from the other kids to hide behind a tree with his haul of chocolates safely in his posession. The look of excitement and wonder on his face was palpable and contagious, as I shared the same emotions with him!
I'm such an admirer of Henri Cartier-Bresson and his unique and individual photo journalistic style. He just seems to have that uncanny ability to somehow capture those fleeting moments in time, no matter how brief and convey a certain mood or emotion in his work. If I could only emulate a small part of what he has achieved, I would be a very contented man indeed!
