Bruno's Second Chance
This photo is hot! Share it!
You wouldn't know this was the same 6-8 week old kitten that I had found lying on the Bog Trail in San Bruno Mountain State Park on May 31, 2008. It was cold, windy and light rain was whipping around. I almost didn't get out of my car...I was cozy in there.
He was starving, dehydrated and cold; barely able to wobble away from me in fear, just three days before I took this photo of him. Someone apparently dumped him there, because he sure isn't a feral kitty. How do people like this live with themselves? I can't imagine.
It was a close call, for sure, as I am certain he wouldn't have made it another night.
In the Three Scheduled Theme Entries photo essay.
