In an attempt to photograph my comrad's first surfing lessons, I found my self being whisked about in a surf blender. All the while looking out for jelly fish, that most recently, temporarily paralyzed a gal's leg down the beach from us. As she cried and limped out of the surf - I took a deep breath and entered the underwater creatures domain, with optimism, and disposable camera in hand.

Coincidently most of the images I took were of me and the camera being thrashed about - the surfers where seldom visible.
