I figured I should at least post one image of the amusement park's sign to round out the images for my JPG story "Are Child's Eyes Made of Plastic?". This cross processed tungsten image turned a cool purple shade. It's almost tough to tell where the sign ends and the sky begins! Again, power lines are screwing with my composition, er.. I mean adding a neat framing construct to the upper left of the frame. Yeah, that's it, framing...
I hope you have enjoyed this series as much as I enjoyed capturing it and going back through my memories of the park.
Created using my Diana+ with expired Fuji T64 Professional Tungsten slide film, cross processed with C41. Negative scanned with my Epson v700 Perfection scanner. No digital manipulation used!

I enjoyed the series, it reminds me of "Playtown" where my Dad and Grandfather took us as kids.

I was looking through my book of negatives today and I realized that I really haven't used my Diana as much as I should be. I really need to go take a few nice photos with it.

Magnificent. These old signs are so funny, and yet, so odd as to be disconcerting, by today's standards. That's, in a nutshell, what I get about your work in general, Paul - that sense of your having brought the past back, and we see how altered it has become in the journey through time. A splendid and fascinating series that I thoroughly enjoy perusing.
