Trapped by societies gender normative expectations, this person struggles daily to live his life as the man he is in a society which tells us men do not have breasts.

Often people ask, "Is this a man with Gynocomastia or a preoperative transgender man?"

Either way, he is who he is on the inside. He is saving up his money for an expensive and transformative surgery.

Sometimes multiple surgeries are required to reshape a man's chest whether his "moobs" (man boobs) are from Gynocomastia, too much estrogen at puberty, being in transition from female to male, or some other reason. Yet this person clearly identifies as male even tho he feels like "a work in progress" May he reach the place in life where he loves his body; no matter how he arrives there.

This is a photo from Gender DiverCity, my photo blog project, exploring gender diversity in identity and presentation, body, mind and spirit in the world around us. You can see more Gender DiverCity photos at http://genderdivercity.blogspot.com/
