Am I being served?
After one year of photography course, I noticed that the way I look at pictures and shoot pictures has changed.
1. I prefer to take pictures of people. It provides me some adrenaline I don't sense when taking pictures of things that don't move (still life). There is very little chance you can do it, taking the picture, over (and over) again.
2. I have a strong preference for b&w pictures with high contrast, as it increases the 'sensation' I feel when looking to the picture. This does not mean I don't like the other stuff :)
In this picture, you see how people 'spend the time waiting' till they get served. The picture is taken at the local market.

Mooie moment opname. Ik weet wat je bedoeld met liever foto's te maken van mensen. Dat is een probleem voor mij want ik leef in een landelijk gebied waar er heel weing mensen te zien zijn op straat.

I know exactly how you feel - especially with number 2.
This is a b-e-a-utiful photo. I think my favorite part, really, is the face of the woman in the back. ahhaha. =) -

I bet I bought some ready made food in this shop....seems so familiar! I had a place in Brugge I always picked up something to bring back to Ollignies so I didn't have to cook after a long day walking around. LOOOOVE this!
