Rejected Transplant
My original Limon done in 1977 relied on perfect, unmarked lemons and limes. What has happened to our produce since then? I could NOT find one unscarred lemon or lime in the five locations I visited. I tried to hide the imperfections but they were too many. Yeah, I know what they say about life dealing us lemons but I want unscarred produce!
Though my transplant work is the subject, I rely heavily on the reflections. I must have the reflections as the subject should be able to carry itself. White balance is always a critical consideration.
During the month of July, the Fayetteville, GA Barnes & Noble will be displaying the photos that were shown in Chasing Rainbows (Issue 16). On July 26 at 2:00 PM, I will be holding a demonstration on how cross-polarization is accomplished. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own plastic items to see what they look like using this technique. A circular polarizer to fit your favorite lens is also encouraged. (See JPG Blog)
