Whoah. I think my favorite part about this is the American flag on the building to the right. it's torn, but still there.

Dina, I lived in NYC for Sept. 11, and remember the creepiest part: seeing public transit buses filled with dust covered, dazed people driving up Madison Avenue immediately afterward. It's hard to express the immediacy of the feelings these pictures bring up to people that were not in the city.
This is a great photo. And of course, it has my vote. -
