Haunted Hermitage
Remains if the "The Hermitage" mansion of Ancaster, ON (Canada) - originally built around 1830 on a 100 acre estate...burned in 1934...now maintained by the Hamilton Conservation Authority.
Said to be haunted by at least 2 ghosts - a young woman of noble birth and the coachman who loved her (he hanged himself when refused her hand by her Uncle...she died broken hearted). Part of Haunted Hamilton's Ghost Walks (hauntedhamilton.com/ghostwalks.com)
There was a second similar building built on the original property and is still in use as a home.
