Here I was in the foreigner's section at the Horse Race Park on South Korea's Jeju Island. The horses were mostly small, island horses with names like Jeju King and The General (in Korean of course). This girl was sneaking from behind the native islander's area, looking for a way out to the track through promisingly odd, slanted windows. She kept looking over at me and I thought I even detected a mischievous wink.
