Wow! Your carpet must be cleaner than mine (either that or you don't have pets)! If you dropped a gummy bear on my carpet it would be covered with cat and dog hair in less than a second. Of course it wouldn't stay in my carpet for longer than that because my dog would immediately gobble it up! I know, I know-TMI!
