Upshot of an Argument

This little cute annoying critter caused ruckus in my home this evening. My three children take turns each feeding the dog two days a week (my husband and I split the 7th day). It was my 6-year old's turn tonight. She went into the garage and lifted the tote lid and . . .screamed!

That led to my husband going all out to search for our cat (who he normally pays no attention to). He found our dear cat outside lounging on the driveway warmth, brought him in (giving him nice little scrubbies under the chin as he held him - something he never does) and tried to plop him into the tote to eat this cute little being. My little one freaked, my two older ones freaked, and I freaked. What the hell was he thinking? Let's watch the cat chew on the mouse on top of the dog food in front of the children who think this is just a baby trapped in the dog food container?

Well, chaos ensued. The children and I won, but my husband was ripped. I am going to have to personally pay for an exterminator now - don't look to him to help me if I hear mice in the middle of the night.

    Nelson, I know it's not an artistic shot of any value, but I had to capture this Friday the 13th chaotic havoc that brought a close to my day. I have reached a time in my life where I can't kill ANY leaving creature unless it's stinging me or biting me in a deathly manner.

    Hey Natalie, I'm with you on that. I can't even kill the poison ivy in the yard because it might harm frogs or toads...But, I must say, imagining the chaos in your house after finding this little fella gave me a laugh. Sorry... :-}
