Sister Odora from the Grand Canyon Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence sits on the huge pink chair statue which resides just outside "The Closet" in Mesa, Arizona.
Sister Odora has been an advocate for HIV/AIDS prevention for over 15 years and her charitable works include too many to list here. You can learn more about her at azsisters.org.
Just a few of her frequent acts of service include HIV and STI education and prevention, Fundraising for Logan's Playground, Raising funds for Aunt Rita's Foundation, LGBT suicide prevention, and just about every LGBT Pride event she can attend. She especially enjoys spreading joy and her message of diversity to all.
To answer a technical question I keep getting: There is no filter used on this shot. The pink you see on her face is from the sun reflecting through the pink umbrella she was holding
