Q: I am really into my wildlife photography but cannot afford a super zoom lens, I have a 300mm and am considering a teleconvertor. Has anybody had a experience with these and would you recommend them?

A: Do you know?

Should anyone be interested I've recently discovered an influence of my changing style of portraiture. I've been playing (too loudly) an album called "Exile on Coldharbour Lane" by Alabama 3 quite a bit. Although it could be described as 'not for the faint-hearted,' it really is an outstanding piece of work. Which brings me to the cover… A mass of over-lapping images some of which are dark, some just disturbing. The title of this image is taken from one of the songs on the album.
