Walking around the carnival without my camera bag, i felt a drop of rain on my shoulder. Spotting an empty ticket booth I ran for cover. Luckily I found the door unlocked just as it started to pour. I sat down and watched as the carnival quickly became a void of any activity. The door suddenly flew open as he stood there, surprised to find anyone occupying the booth. I motioned him to come in. Dripping wet he sat next to me and as I started to make small talk I noticed we had reached a language barrier. We watched the glowing carnival lights dance through the water covered glass of the booth. He motioned to my camera, holding it in his hands very gently, he studied it for a bit. I asked to take his portrait and he agreed. Soon after I finished it stopped raining and the door swung open one more time to reveal his overseer who, should I mention, was smiling a little too much. He quickly got up and walked over to him waving goodbye and smiling. I sat in the booth for a few more minutes and gathered my things.

I agree with Nelson: intense portrait, and the text is like a minimal novel. Excellent, Jeniffer
