Somewhat resembling a UFO, this is one of many storms from this week. It has stormed everynight this past week. Some more violent than others.

    Yes, I live in tornado alley. I was a bit scared myself. I would take a few shots and then run back in the house. As it changed, I would run out and take a few more. It was just hard to believe.

    Yeah, the nickname chasers give this type of formation is the "Mothership" (which happens to go with your own description). You caught the scene nicely. Beautiful Capture!
