We went to the Mekong Delta on our trip in Vietnam and I have to say...It's quite a beautiful place. Not so much in the sense of scenery (I mean, most of the docks are built of rotting wood and corrugated steal...) but all the families on their ships, floating up and down the rivers...its just a beautiful thing. Its a very easy life as well...I was pretty serious when I told my parents that I would like to buy a boat and just float up and down the river one day.
