Papo Furado
Edson Rodrigues do Nascimento, called in Brazilian “Papo Furado”, grew up in Rio de Janeiro, where he acquired great experience in the schools of samba, being distinguished in Portela and Império Serrano. In Vitória (Espírito Santo), he was the first interpreter of the school of samba Unidos da Piedade in 1955, and is the main one until today. His vast professional experience in samba is decurrent of innumerable presentations in the State of Espírito Santo. Currently he participates of project “CAJUM” giving lessons of guitar, cavaquinho and percussion for underprivileged children of Vitória, with the support of the municipal administration. He recorded 8 LPs.
