This public installation is called 'Eos' and was created by Dessa Kirk, a Chicago sculptor known for making large-scale lilies and depictions of women from Greek mythology.
One of the overlying themes in Kirk's work is finding the hidden beauty in ugliness, and she often makes her pieces from scraps of discarded Cadillac cars. Her sculptures are huge & rugged looking, ranging from raw to elegant as you can see from the capture. This installation is massive and sits in the median of the street in Columbus overlooking the drive into the city and over-looking Mill Race Park.

this is a very striking image! i love how she looks superimposed over a whilte background. Your angle makes her look as dramatic in the photo, as perhaps she does, when viewing her in person.
