It took seven years but I think I have it the way we want it. Besides after several configurations, at least three re-location and sizes I'm too darned old to go through it all again.
However!
It has become our place to relax and reflect, to talk and share quiet interludes, to talk of the future and remember the past.
Time well spent with friends and family have taken place here. It has heard laughter and seen the odd tear of joy and sorrow. Bonds strengthened and stories shared.
But the odd thing is, what I remember most is the fact it took me five years not to have to get up to pee as soon as I sat down near it.
