Maybe because I didn't grow up with the beach I've always been fascinated by how cool the sand looks as it transitions. Needless to say I took a ton of pictures of it this time. These are a couple of my favourites.

Thanks for the great comments! The sand there is very dark grey and it did look very metallic-y to me too which was what appealed to me.

I'm back to this shot! Leanna the feel here is so Rich and connected to emotion for me! I'd vote for this in any category anywhere! The little mudworm mounds really make this interesting and the tone, contrast is outstanding...it just pops for me.
