(March 20, 2008--Madison, WI) TO INFINITY -- The House on the Rock, an architectural marvel perched atop Deer Shelter Rock in Madison, WI, was built by Alex Jordan in the early 1940's. A mother and her daugher visit the most spectacular of the fourteen rooms--the Infinity Room--constructed in 1985. The room, made of 3,264 glass windows, projects out over the Wyoming Valley 218 ft. From the end of the room, visitors can look down to the forest floor 156 ft below through a glass panel in the floor.
