Heading up my blog this month is a shot from the Zoo... Elephants have wisdom far beyond what we as mere humans understand, with the deep and complex wrinkles to prove it. Thanks to Monkey Man on MySpace for making this shot possible. The rounded ear flapped against the tough terrain of the skin is a contradictory parallel to the hulking gentility of the animals themselves.
