The Third Eye - Series

Photography used not as a means to capture a real image but instead to create a unique, surrealistic environment that makes you think. Positioned objects and materials with great attention and care. All this with the sheer goal of achieving a 'naturally illusional' setting without the aid of digital manipulation.
This work has not been 'Photoshoped' as one may ponder.

Dexterous use of layering to achieve a moving expression of kinetic power. The warm palette and funneling effects remind one of the mother’s womb. The tension between the crisp lamp and the distant CD makes for a powerful effect.
