All this with the sheer goal of achieving a 'naturally illusional' setting without the aid of digital manipulation.

Dexterous use of layering to achieve a moving expression of kinetic power. The warm palette and funneling effects remind one of the mother’s womb. The tension between the crisp lamp and the distant CD makes for a powerful effect.
