...Where I've Been
This photo was taken on Lake Mead just outside Las Vegas. It was a swelteringly hot Summer day. A group of us headed out on a speed boat for a day of water sports, relaxation and heat control. After many long hours on the water, we saw the sun setting in the distance. We decided to call it a day and get back to shore before it was dark. As we were racing towards the sunset, I took a moment to look back. To look at the water we had spent our day enjoying. It was a moment that reminded me that it's not only where I'm headed that is important, by where I've been.
