Those who served in the military know a "wet down" party is held when someone gets promoted. Here, this box got promoted to full capacity. you have to do two things to your compost box in addition to adding waste. That is keep it moist and periodically stir it. Watering should be done every week at a minimum, more often as it gets hotter in the summer months. Stirring is recommended weekly by most experts but we found that every other week seemed optimal for this box.
