the cliffs at ulu watu present one of the most breathtaking backdrops in all of bali, and they overlook one of the most renowned surf spots in the world as well, where even on a flat day the waves can still easily be 6-10 feet in height.
you can just imagine that if the waves still look huge from a kilometer away and 200 feet up, then they must look absolutely massive when looking up at them as they barrel over your head.
