It was odd stumbling across this wreckage at the entrance to Everest base camp, after days of walking with no motorized vehicles for miles to see the remains of this flying beast was eerie to say the least. I later found out that the helicopter was flying journalists and photographers into Everest base camp to cover a climber who had just set the the world speed record for summiting Everest.
