Girl Talk @ The Thirsty Hippo, Hattiesburg, MS
Girl Talk is a mash-up artist, constantly looping 3 to 5 layers of usually pop music and heavy dance beats. His stage presence is unique in that the audience is encouraged to join him on stage to create a sweaty massive throng of partiers. The plastic wrap is a necessity, considering the amount of liquor and other assorted fluids let fly on a regular basis. The flash was handheld, triggered wirelessly (using the pop-up flash as commander) and bounced off the low angled ceiling.
