They greet you as you take the final turns towars Tungnath. They keep an eye over you when you roll about in the psychadelic meadows at the dizzying hights of Chandrashila peak (4270 mts). Chandrashilla (the mountain of the moon) is the peak above the temple providing a panoramic view of all the great Himalyan peaks from Bandarpoonch to Nanda Devi.
