La Casa de Baja (A House in Miniature)
If you see a great photo that would make a perfect entry for one of our Shoot Out photo contests but it was uploaded by another user, now you can enter that photo in the contest and, if it wins, you get to share in the contest winnings.
Like a photo editor, if you've got an eye for great work, find it and submit it to a contest. If it wins, since you staked the entry fee, you'll take home part of the prize (the rest, of course, goes to the member who shot the image).

Full view of house, from the right-hand side. The walls are made from spackle over styrofoam except for the chimney (a plastic tube). This was a project for a contest, so could have no roof. Like nearly everything, the cactus and the palm tree are both home made, as is the tile floor (done with textured paint and tiny strips of painters tape.)
Looking at this now, I sometimes can't believe I did all this! Doing miniatures I think, is like photography: either you love it, or you don't! Maybe you could use the word "addiction..." maybe not.
