Nestled in a high cirque in Glacier is Iceberg Lake. The picture was taken July 15th. Snowfields continue to calve into the lake and icebergs float lazily. It is rare whatever time of summer for all of the ice to disappear from Iceberg Lake. The water is bone chilling year round. It is refreshing after a mild but steady climb over 5 miles of trail from Swiftcurrent.
