Battlement Mesa
Near Parachute, Colorado. This area was developed years ago on the promise that someone was going to produce lots of oil from the oil shale in the area. When that went bust do to the cost, this area became a retirement community. Now there is discussion on the oil shale once again.

Great capture. Sure looks cold and desolate, I hope it is more temperate in the summers for the sake of the retirees.
