This photograph was taken inside Fort Santiago, a historical site in Manila famous with tourists. As a busload of Korean tourists comes in, two Muslim tourists continue with their noonday prayers, unmindful of everyone around them. I find this photograph especially meaningful today because Islamic fundamentalists in the southern Philippines are becoming more radical and beginning to drive away their Christian neighbors, many of whom are leaving in fear for their lives. These fanatics don't realize that everywhere else in the Philippines, their Muslim brothers, local and foreign alike, can freely worship anywhere in peace.
