The drive home from work this morning was rejuvenating. After a long nights work, I jumped into my car (mini cooper) and toured my way back home. As usual, I had to take the back roads because they are most inviting for a MINI...twisty and winding. As I took a series of corners at warp speed, I was suddenly mesmerized by what I just passed. I put the auto into reverse, found a place to park and grabbed my camera (D200) and tripod. As I stood on the abandoned RR tracks composing this image two people came to mind, Laura Boston-Thek and my good friend Chet Esser. Laura for her ability to capture Nature's beauty and Chet for his passion for Nature. I hope you both enjoy this image. Crabtree, Oregon
