the photos in this book are the ones that have been notorious of the emotion they convey. these are the photos of triumph, sorrow, loss, war, love, beauty, destruction, faith, fame, and legend. everything from Woodstock to the Hungarian uprising. from execution to the first man in space. from that famous portrait of Che Guevara to the bombing of pearl harbor. from the Beatles to Elvis. from Princess Diana's wedding to massacres in Bejing. from the KKK to Einstein. from Paris to Mexico. from fighting for independence to celebrating independence.
