Q: My sister in-law recently gave me a Canon EOS 10D digital camera body. Having only used point and shoot cameras, what would be a good beginners lens to get for this camera? Should I get kit lens to start with?

A: Do you know?

This is a picture of a flower called "King's Mantle"

The detailed information for botanist's is given below:

King's Mantle (Thunbergia erecta)

Family: Acanthaceae (ah-kanth-AY-see-ay)

Genus: Thunbergia (thun-BER-jee-uh)

Species: erecta (ee-RECK-tuh)

More details can be found at this link.

I think this is a picture where an ant entering it would be attracted by the fascinating colors at the center of the flower.

One can closely see the stigma of the flower and probably greeting the ant "Hi there !!!!"

In my view this represents an ant's view while entering the flower and being seduced by the fascinating colors of the flower
