Thank you. Haven't dropped the 5D. In over 60,000 tosses, only caused damage 11 times, exclusively lens actuators, no internal damage. Most damage resulted from the camera bumping a wall, or during the catch (think water ballons or egg-toss). The only significant drop was a completely missed catch on a 30-foot toss, but it fell into wet muddy grass and only ended up with dirt under the shutter release button. There were numerous bobbles in the early days resulting in no damage, but less of those in recent years.
