Idol shop
These pictures are taken at a busy, roadside idol shop near my house. The shop workers are making idols of Lord Ganesha for the forthcoming festival in September.
Lord Ganesha is the most worshipped deity across India. And this is the most important and celebrated festival in the state I live in i.e. Maharahstra, which is the western part of India.
This is just a prelude. As you see the idols are still in making. So is my little note. I shall shoot and write more about the festival in September.
