This 10 metre high steel cross was designed & erected in Dec. 1966 by William Sinclair (1925-1994) and two other Ontario Hydro Linemen. It has 106 sealed industrial light bulbs around the edge and can be seen for miles from it's place near Ridge Road (Stoney Creek, Hamilton, ON - Canada).
What's interesting is the Sinclair chose this spot, a famous geological site created during the last Ice Age...and named "The Devil's Punchbowl".
