This is one of the many Drive In Theaters that are abandoned and left to soon be forgotten. The Route 66 West Twin Drive In is located in Weatherford, Oklahoma. Closed down in the 90s, reopened in (i think) 99 but closed again in 2004, it is now grown over by weeds and slowly falling apart.
Walking around in between the abandoned ticket both, the concession stands and the 2 screens, you can only imagine how great it must have been here about 50 years ago, when the place was packed with Cadillacs and Petticoats ;)
This Drive In is located right next to the old Route 66. You can see cars and trucks passing by on Interstate 40 in the background.
This is a long time exposure of about 2 minutes. I also fired several flashes with a purple gelled strobe inside the ticket booth, creating the color effect inside it.

I love this shot, great colours, the purple light works really well. You guys are lucky to have suitable weather to have drive-ins, no such thing in Scotland!
