girl with guinea worm
This girl, in Changeshu village, Ghana, suffers from a parasitic disease which is being eradicated through a global network of health and non-profit agencies. I photographed her for The Carter Presidential Center which has been instrumental in fighting this disease. Hopefully, she is part of a transformation to health.
